Ukrainian Government Approves Export Regulations
In a significant move aimed at regulating and monitoring its agricultural exports to certain EU countries, the Ukrainian government has approved new rules for the export of wheat, corn, rapeseed, and sunflower seeds. The countries benefiting from these exports include Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, and Bulgaria. Ukrainian Government: Export Control Action Plan
Ukraine’s Minister of Agricultural Policy and Food, Solisky, announced that Ukraine has submitted an export control action plan to the European Commission. According to this plan, Ukraine will actively monitor and regulate exports, coordinating with the relevant countries. The minister expressed confidence that the plan would satisfy all parties and that Ukraine’s proposal should alleviate the situation.

Discussions with the European Commission
Ukrainian Prime Minister Shmyhal shared that Ukraine is currently in talks with the European Commission about the aforementioned plan. Ukraine’s central position is to introduce a verification system for exporting specific agricultural products to the five EU member states.
