Equal rights for victims of revenge porn as those who are raped possibly to be given soon in the UK

According to measures being developed by the government, victims of revenge porn and other online image abuse will soon have the same legal rights to anonymity as those who have been sexually assaulted.
Ministers are anticipated to amend the law to protect the privacy of those who have been the victims of deep fakes, revenge porn, and other offences involving the unauthorised sharing of sexual photos online.
The decision, which was advocated by the Law Commission, will also offer victims of rape access to further special protections, such as the chance to provide videotaped testimony in advance of a case to save them the discomfort of having to appear in person before their offender.
