After a little over a year in the position and a week after the British clothing retailer entered administration, Caroline York, the Joules Group’s finance chief, has left the struggling company.
The business released a brief statement on Friday but omitted York’s name or the details of her departure. Joules or its administrators Interpath Ltd could not be reached right away for additional information.
Following pressure on its finances, profitability, and cash flow as a result of a cost-of-living crisis that has slashed consumer spending, Joules became the latest retail collapse in Britain.
York, 49, joined Joules as chief financial officer in August last year from insurance-price comparison site Moneysupermarket .com.
