Nikolay Patrushev, the Secretary of Russia’s Security Council, has expressed concern over the United States' intentions in Asia. According to Patrushev, Washington is discontent with the stability in the region that has emerged following World War II and subsequent liberation movements. He believes the US is seeking to create an equivalent of NATO in Asia to undermine independent states.

Patrushev stated that the US' Indo-Pacific strategy, which was announced by the White House in February of last year, is an attempt to create an Asian version of NATO. He warned that this new alliance could become an aggressive bloc targeting China and Russia while also being used to control independent states in the region.

The Security Council Secretary also emphasized the long-term objectives of the United States and NATO to establish dominance over Eurasia from the eastern flank. He claims the US is attempting to execute this plan through various means, such as the rearmament of the Australian fleet within the framework of the new AUKUS alliance, which includes Australia, Britain, and the US. This also involves supplying nuclear submarines and providing military support for Taiwan and South Korea.

The US' actions and plans, as described by Patrushev, have the potential to destabilize the delicate balance of power in Asia. It remains to be seen how the nations in the region will respond to these allegations and the possible formation of a NATO-style alliance in Asia.
