Russian Duma Chairman Claims US and Belgium Acknowledge “If There is Putin, There is Russia”

Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, Viacheslav Volodin claimed that UnitedStates and Belgium know that “if there is Vladimir Putin (Russian President), there is Russia.”

According to Volodin, Washington and Brussels have exhausted all possibilities of “sanctions and hostile actions” against Russia. “They failed to break the unity of the citizens of the Russian Federation and destroy the economy of our country. Washington and Brussels understand that if there is Putin, there is Russia,” he said.

He accused the ICC’s warrant against Putin to be yet another attack on Russia. “Putin’s strength is in the support of the people and the consolidation of society around him. We regard any attacks on the president of the Russian Federation as aggression against our country,” he said.
