High security has been put in place and Section 144 was imposed in the region prior to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s highly anticipated arrival at the Islamabad judicial complex in the Toshakhana case to maintain peace and order and prevent any unfortunate incidents like what occurred last month.
Islamabad Chief Commissioner Noorul Amin Mengal moved the hearing from the F-8 Court Complex to the Judiciary Complex in G-11 as a “one-time dispensation” in response to the PTI’s claim that Khan’s life is in danger and he requires security.
Security protocols were broken when Khan visited the court last month because PTI members took down all barriers during their party leader’s appearances in several courts.
On that particular occasion, several of the employees vandalized the structure and disturbed the courtroom’s decorum.
