The Oman Electricity Transmission Company (OETC) recently conducted an awareness session revealing its ‘5-Year Annual Transmission Capability Statement’. Targeting the student population from various universities, the aim was to keep the future workforce in the loop regarding the company’s development and operational plans. The session was instrumental in shedding light on the company’s strategic plans for the next five years, setting the course for the development of the electricity grid in the Sultanate of Oman.
400kV Electricity Infrastructure and Beyond
The session highlighted OETC’s plans for the construction of a 400kV electricity infrastructure across the Sultanate. This ambitious project forms a crucial part of the company’s strategic plan, aiming to strengthen Oman’s electricity transmission network and ensuring the reliable delivery of power to all corners of the nation.
