Police Arrest 36-Year-Old Man For Raping A Teenage Boy To Death In Ogun

Operatives of the Ogun State Command of the Nigerian Police (@PoliceNG) yesterday arrested 36-year-old Sikiru Ajibola for raping a 5-year-old boy to death in the Ogijo area of the state.

Ajibola was arrested following a report at the Ogijo Divisional Police Headquarters by the council Chairman, who reported that a teenager had lost his life after been sexually abused by a man. The suspected abuser-cum-killer was tracked and arrested.

He confessed to being a homosexual, an offense contract to the laws of Nigeria. He said the boy died as he sexually took advantage of him. To cover his act, he confessed to burying the corpse at a shallow grave in a nearby bush.

He led operatives of the Nigerian Police to the shallow grave. On the revelation, the Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Bankole, ordered the immediate transfer of the case to the Homicide Unit of the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation.
