In a recent incident that occurred on Sunday, unknown gunmen attacked a bus carrying officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Abajana, Kogi State. The attack happened around 2 am, leaving six people missing and several others injured, including police officers.
Reports suggest that the attackers barricaded the bus and abducted six individuals, which included two corps members and four ex-members. The injured individuals were admitted to the Federal University Teaching Hospital in Lokoja for medical attention.
