Rabat Sale Kenitra becomes the most affected area of COVID-19 as Morocco recorded new cases

As new cases of covid-19 are reported in Morocco, Rabat Sale Kenitra has become the most affected area.

Morocco has reported 170 new cases of the Covid-19 virus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s total number of cases since the outbreak’s inception to 1,267,836.

There are currently 1,192 active cases, 5 of which are critical. The Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region has reported the most infections, with 61 cases, including 21 in Rabat, 16 in Salé, 5 in Skhirat-Témara, 14 in Kenitra, 1 in Khemisset, and two in Sidi Kacem and Sidi Slimane.

According to news, the Casablanca-Settat region is the second most affected, with 42 new infections, including 36 in Casablanca, two in Mediouna and Nouaceur, and one in El Jadida and Mohammedia.

The Fez-Meknes region, with 18 cases, is followed by the Marrakech-Safi region, with 27 cases, 26 in Marrakech and 1 in Safi. In the Souss Massa region, there were 12 cases, with six in Taroudant, four in Inezgane Ait Melloul, and two in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane. There were six incidents in Meknes, eleven in Fez, and one in Taza.
