Trailer Collision in Oaxaca Leaves 25 Injured and 1 Dead After Losing Brakes on the Road

On Friday night, a trailer collided with several vehicles in Oxchuc, Oaxaca, after losing its brakes while traveling from San Cristóbal de las Casas to Ocosingo.

The accident occurred when the trailer crashed into other vehicles on the road and was unable to stop. As many people were returning home at the time, at least two private cars and two motorcycle taxis were hit.

The incident resulted in 25 injuries and one fatality. The accident involved a passenger unit, a tractor-trailer, two private cars, and two motorcycle taxis, according to Civil Protection. The injured individuals were taken to the Basic Hospital in Oxchuc by the local authorities.
