According to Claudel Lubaya, the proposal for a law on civil aviation, intended to give the nation a legal instrument in conformity with international norms, was adopted by the Senate on Friday, May 25. The National MP explained the benefits of this bill, which, in his view, will make it possible to clean up the nation’s aviation environment, in celebration of its adoption by the upper house of Parliament.
“The passage of this law is the product of a protracted parliamentary effort, the goal of which is to provide remedies for a wide range of deficiencies by putting in place technical and regulatory measures that are expected to improve the aviation environment in our nation.
Having personally carried this bill, I applaud the remarkable agreement reached during the parliamentary debate that was started over its text, the ongoing support it has received since it was first introduced, and the bill’s final unanimous adoption in each of the two chambers of Parliament ” he added.
Claudel André Lubaya further stated “I want to thank every senator for their deserving attention to the discussion and adoption of this measure. This enables our nation to have a more cohesive legal system, assuring the global aviation community of our capacity to provide our civil aviation with appropriate technical and safety oversight.
” This law offers various benefits for this Kasai elected representative, including improved passenger safety, strengthened aviation, and employee management. According to Claudel Lubaya, “This document without a doubt modernizes the regulation of the civil aviation sector around three issues: passenger safety, strengthening the control of aircraft and boarding staff, and implementing the sectoral reforms necessary to clean up the entire perimeter of our civil aviation.
We do this by harmonizing our legal framework with the requirements of international standards in the field of air transport.
