Attack on three schools in Brazil: Six are hospitalized, three dead, including a 12-year-old girl.

According to updated information from the health department, six people remain hospitalized after a 16-year-old teenager started an attack on schools in the city of Aracruz, Espírito Santo state, this morning. They are being treated at three hospital institutions.

Selena Zagrillo, 12 years old, was one of three people who died at the scene of the attack.

The first death identified was teacher Maria da Penha Pereira de Melo Baths, 48 years old.

The criminal was arrested in the afternoon. According to the governor of the Espírito Santo state, the 16-year-old teenager studied at one of the schools involved in the attack.

Investigations confirm that he used two of his father’s firearms, a military police officer.
