Brussels 1 and 5 metro service is back to normal after the disruption

Brussels intercommunal transport company STIB (@STIBMIVB) said on Friday evening that traffic on the Brussels 1 and 5 metro lines had been severely disrupted due to an accident involving a person. #accident

According to the public transport company, Lines 1 and 5 were interrupted between the stations Arts-Loi/Kunst-Wet and Étangs Noirs/Zwarte Vijvers (in the direction of West Station and Erasmus). Similarly, traffic towards Stockel and Herrmann-Debroux was at a standstill between the stations Beekkant and Arts-Loi/Kunst-Wet

STIB later confirmed that normal service had resumed on all affected metro and bus lines and that the public can use the services.
