Azerbaijan receives applications for gas supplies from more than ten European countries

Azerbaijan has received applications for gas supplies from more than ten European countries, according to President of the Republic Ilham Aliyev, and currently does not have enough gas to meet all applications.
Previously, Russia’s energy behemoth Gazprom announced on Friday that shipments of natural gas to Azerbaijan had begun under a new contract.
SOCAR and Gazprom have signed a new agreement for natural gas shipments to Azerbaijan, according to a Gazprom statement. Shipments under the agreement began on November 15 and will continue until March 2023. The total amount could reach 1 billion by March of next year.
