Herat province receives the seventh shipment of Turkish humanitarian aid

Towrgondi port in Herat province received the seventh shipment of Turkish humanitarian aid. The aid consisting of flour, rice, oil, and other foodstuffs as well as clothes will go towards helping needy families in Afghanistan.

The head of the Turkish Humanitarian Aid Foundation office in Herat, Abdul Basir Anakhil, said that the shipment of 500 tons will be delivered to needy people in some provinces.

“People who need more and are poor, after a transparency process will receive this aid,” Anakhil said.
