A HIMARS strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine damaged railway infrastructure in the city of Ilovaisk in Donetsk, according to local government officials. The station building, shops, and railway tracks were all severely damaged.
“Last night, when Russian forces were unloading their equipment at the railway station in the occupied city of Ilovaisk, Ukrainian artillery struck it,” according to Ukrinform, Anatoliy Shtefan, a Ukrainian Armed Forces officer, said on his Telegram channel.
Russia claimed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces used MLRS to attack the railway station manned by Russian troops. Seven missiles are known to have been launched.
