Vibrant Gujarat Celebrates 20 Years
Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently attended a significant celebration at Science City in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The occasion marked two decades of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit. A Welcome by Robots
In a rather futuristic welcome, PM Modi was greeted by several robots at a robot exhibition at the Science City. The exhibition highlighted the country’s advancements in technology and innovation, aligning with the Prime Minister’s vision of a progressive, technologically advanced India.
Unveiling Development Projects
During his visit, PM Modi unveiled development projects amounting to Rs 5,206 crores in Gujarat’s Chhota Udepur district. Notably, these included village Wi-Fi facilities across 22 districts, set to benefit 20 lakh beneficiaries in 7,500 villages. This move aims to bridge the digital divide in rural India, making internet access available to remote areas, thus promoting digital literacy and inclusivity.

Investing in Education
On September 27, PM Modi inaugurated projects worth Rs 4,505 crores under the Mission Schools of Excellence initiative. This included the unveiling of a new Navodaya Vidyalaya built at a cost of Rs 23 crores in Dahod and an FM Radio Studio worth Rs 10 crores. These initiatives focus on enhancing the quality of education and promoting modern facilities, thus fostering a better learning environment for the youth.
Further Development Plans
The state government announced the inauguration and dedication of additional development projects under various departments. These include the Roads and Buildings Department (Rs 277 crores), the Urban Development Department (Rs 251 crores), and the Water Supply Department (Rs 80 crores). These initiatives indicate the government’s commitment to comprehensive infrastructure development, aiming to create a robust, modern, and efficient infrastructure system in the state.
