
Immersed Embarks on Pre-orders for Unique Head-Mounted Display “Visor”

The Dawn of Visor: A Leap into Virtual Reality
A United States-based start-up, Immersed, has kick-started the pre-order process for its innovative Head-Mounted Display (HMD) device dubbed “Visor.” The VR tool “Immersed” exhibited by the company can render multi-displays in a virtual space, thus making it an attractive tool for PC work. The Visor device is poised to be 25% lighter than an average smartphone, with prices starting from $499. The shipment of the device is slated for 2024.

Visor: A New Face of Virtual Reality
The Visor comes in two variants: the “Visor 2.5K” and the “Visor 4K.” The Visor 2.5K is fitted with a 2.5K micro OLED display per eye and is priced at $499.99. On the other hand, the Visor 4K goes for $749.99. Ahead of the launch of the Visor 4K, a 4K Founders Edition will be shipped six months earlier, carrying an early discount price of $999.99.
Both versions of the Visor boast a field of view of 100 degrees. The Immersed app comes pre-installed on these devices, enabling users to operate in a virtual space by displaying up to five screens in sync with Mac, PC, and Linux. Users can move their line of sight within this space, enhancing their virtual experience. A unique feature of the Visor is the color pass-through function. This feature allows users to overlay the real world in front of them with the display, creating an engaging blend of reality and virtual reality.
