The United States is advancing to relax restrictions on blood donations from gay and bisexual men as well as other groups that have historically faced higher HIV risks. United States Assistant Secretary Donald Lu has announced that Bangladesh is set to become the first country eligible for the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) trade scheme, pending authorization from the US Congress.
