A massive protest against the proposed pension reform took place in Paris on Thursday, bringing together around 1.12 million people from across the country, according to the Interior Ministry. The demonstration, which began in the early afternoon at the Place de la République, was organized by representatives of the eight largest labor unions in France, who are united against the reform.
