Ihsanullah, a young fast bowler for Multan Sultans, was named the Player of the Tournament in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 8. The emerging player won the award for his exceptional performance, taking 22 wickets in the competition, the second-highest tally. He is the first emerging player to receive this honor, with previous recipients including Ravi Bopara, Kamran Akmal, Luke Ronchi, Shane Watson, Babar Azam, Sohaib Maqsood, and Mohammad Rizwan.
Another youngster from the Multan Sultans team, Abbas Afridi, was named the Emerging Player of PSL 8, finishing the competition with the highest number of wickets (23). Kieron Pollard, the Sultans’ top fielder, was named the Best Fielder of the tournament.
Other PSL 8 awards were given to Mohammad Rizwan (Best Batter and Best Wicketkeeper), Imad Wasim (Best All-Rounder), Peshawar Zalmi (Spirit of Cricket), and Alex Wharf (Best Umpire).
