Krychowiak’s journey with the Polish national team began in 2008 when he debuted in a friendly match against Serbia. Over the course of his 15-year tenure, he represented the national squad in exactly 100 games, scoring five goals. His last game was a Euro 2024 qualifier against Albania in Tirana, which unfortunately ended in a loss.
The seasoned footballer has had an illustrious career, having participated in four major football events. He represented Poland twice in the World Cup in 2018 and 2022, and twice in the European Championships in 2016 and 2020. Currently, Krychowiak is part of Saudi Arabia’s Abha club, coached by former selector Czesław Michniewicz. In the past, he has played for renowned clubs including Girondins Bordeaux, Stade de Reims, FC Nantes, Sevilla, Paris Saint-Germain, West Bromwich Albion, Lokomotiv Moscow, FK Krasnodar, AEK Athens, and Al-Shabab.
