Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu’s arrival in Cairo marks the first visit by a Turkish official to Egypt in over a decade. Cavusoglu was invited by his Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Shoukry, to engage in joint talks between the two countries.
