The Interior Ministry of Pakistan warns the PTI of a “security threat.”

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership has once again been notified by the interior ministry about potential concerns regarding a suicide or bomb attack during the long march.

The interior ministry has been sharing threat alerts created by reliable intelligence sources about attempts to destabilize Imran Khan’s life by anti-state elements, according to a letter delivered to PTI Secretary General Asad Umar.

The letter also mentioned the recent attack on Imran Khan by an armed assailant at Wazirabad.

According to the letter, terrorist attacks on PTI’s long march could be carried out by extremist parties.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf should postpone the public gathering in Rawalpindi, the letter said, because there have been threats of suicide or bomb attacks at public rallies.

The Interior Ministry has formally conveyed to the concerned quarters the threat to the life of Imran Khan and the general public.
