The ATC extends Imran Khan’s interim bail in two cases.

Imran Khan, the PTI chairman, had two charges filed against him, and the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Monday extended his interim bail in both of them after protests that followed the ECP’s decision to disqualify him from the Toushakhana case.
Raja Jawad Abbas Hasan, an ATC judge, reportedly resumed the hearing. Imran Khan’s medical report was presented to the court by the PTI chairman’s attorney, Babar Awan, who also requested a waiver from Imran Khan’s personal appearance requirement in the terrorism case. The PTI chairman is unable to attend court, according to Babar Awan, who told the court.
The ATC judge said Imran Khan was present at the Rawalpindi rally, then asked why he was unable to appear before the court. Babar Awan informed the court that the party chairman’s helicopter was not permitted to land in Islamabad.
Is there any written order not allowing the helicopter in the capital’s territory, the judge asked. At this point, the PTI counsel responded that we didn’t receive any written order.
The Anti-terrorism Court (ATC) extended the interim bail of PTI Chairman Imran Khan till December 9 in one case and till December 17 in the second case.
