Tayyip Erdogan says Turkish and Egyptian ministers to meet in process of building ties between the two nations

Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish President, said on Sunday that, relations building process with Egypt would start with ministers of the two nations meeting, and the talks would develop from there.
After many years of tension, Erdogan shook hands with Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in Qatar last week. In an Egyptian presidential statement, this was described as a new start in bilateral relations.
Erdogan said that he had spoken with Sisi for around 45 minutes at that meeting on the sidelines of the World Cup in Qatar. Erdogan said, “We had narrowly focused talks with Mr. Sisi there and said now let’s have ministers coming and going at a low level. After that, let’s broaden and widen these talks”.
Erdogan also signaled the possibility of improving ties with rival Syria and said, “Just as this business is now on track with Egypt, things may also get on track with Syria”.
