Mazari went on to criticize Maryam's lack of understanding of what constitutes a terrorist organization, accusing her of being swayed by her fear of Imran Khan and the PTI. The PTI leader further added that if any political party in Pakistan had been involved in terrorism, it was the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), led by Maryam's father, who had regularly attacked the Supreme Court.

Shireen Mazari also accused the PML-N of lacking an understanding of democratic principles and the supremacy of the constitution. She further highlighted that Maryam's father, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, had been in hiding in London for four years and was enjoying the fruits of his corruption, while the people of Pakistan were suffering due to his mismanagement of the country.

The exchange between the two parties highlights the ongoing political tensions in Pakistan, with the PTI and PML-N engaged in a bitter rivalry for control of the country. The accusations made by Mazari against Maryam and her party are likely to fuel further animosity between the two sides.
