"Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has stated that Serbia has no intention of signing anything at a meeting with representatives from the European Union (EU) and Kosovo in Ohrid, North Macedonia. The meeting will involve bilateral talks between EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell, Vucic, and Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, followed by a trilateral meeting. Vucic made his comments before the meeting, adding that the talks would focus on the normalization of relations between Serbia and Kosovo, but he would not sign anything.

The normalization plan includes issues such as trade, energy, and transport, as well as the position of Serbian communities in Kosovo. The meeting follows recent protests in Belgrade by individuals who oppose the normalization plan, believing that it implies recognition of Kosovo's independence. The plan is seen as a significant step towards Serbia's goal of joining the EU. However, Vucic has previously stated that Serbia will not join the EU unless the situation with Kosovo is resolved.

The Serbian Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija unilaterally declared independence from Serbia in 2008 following a bloody conflict, and Serbia still considers these lands as part of its territory. The talks are part of the EU's efforts to help Serbia and Kosovo move towards a peaceful resolution of their long-standing disputes."
