President López Obrador accused judges by assuring that they are the last link where corruption prevails, which prevents the transformation of the country, so he warned about a possible reform.
This Thursday, November 24, during his traditional press conference from the National Palace, the President declared that “without wishing to undermine the credibility of the Judicial Power”, the country needs a reform to put an end to corruption.
According to the president, judges continue to carry out “sabadazos”, where criminals are released on weekends, which is why he expects a reform to emerge within the Judiciary.
The President insisted on the need for a reform that comes from the ministers of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation to regulate the actions of judges and magistrates, in order to amend actions that are contrary to the administration of justice.
The President reiterated that these accusations are not intended to affect the credibility of the judges, but rather for the Judiciary Council to address the complaints.
