President lauds the efforts of Fatherland Front workers

President Nguyn Xuân Phc has emphasized the vital role that Fatherland Front officials play in constructing, maintaining, and sustaining the nation’s great unity. On Sunday, he was addressing distinguished delegates.

President Phc praised the 299 grassroots leaders who serve as chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee, saying they were all good models of hard workers.

He described the representatives as being of all ages, qualifications, and regions, but they were all eager, responsible, innovative, and ready to tackle hurdles, epidemics, and natural calamities, and were completely devoted to the people.

They take an active role in promoting patriotic causes, fostering cultural life, and developing new rural lifestyles. They enthusiastically participate in environmental protection, COVID-19 pandemic prevention, and control, ensuring local security and order, preventing crimes, eliminating outdated customs, caring for people who have rendered valuable services to the nation, and assisting those affected by natural disasters.

Many of them are excellent instances of enriching and assisting others in escaping poverty. He proposed that the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front expand work at the communal level, seeing it as a critical component of the goals.
