Ministers Sign Declaration to Enhance Tax Collaboration
Poland’s Minister of Finance, Magdalena Rzeczkowska, and the United Arab Emirates’ Minister of Finance, Mohamed bin Hadi Al Hussaini, have signed a joint declaration on deepening tax cooperation in Abu Dhabi. This political agreement between Poland and the UAE will facilitate closer contacts and initiate collaboration between the public administrations of both countries.
The declaration aligns with Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki’s initiative to build a coalition of nations around the concept of tax solidarity. It signifies a significant step toward fostering closer ties between Poland and the UAE.
By entering into this agreement, Poland and the UAE will share knowledge, experiences, and best practices in digitizing their respective tax systems. This encompasses requirements related to digital reporting, big data analysis, machine learning, and the adoption of new technologies in the public sector, such as blockchain.

Political Agreement Sets Stage for Closer Ties Between Poland and UAE
“We are a European leader in the digitalization of the tax system. In recent years, we have implemented numerous IT tools, including JPK, SENT, STIR, online cash registers, and KSeF. Therefore, we are ready to share our experiences in implementing these projects and learn from the best practices in other countries,” emphasizes Minister Magdalena Rzeczkowska.

Poland has been actively pursuing bilateral agreements to deepen cooperation in sealing tax systems. These agreements serve as frameworks for accelerated knowledge transfer, experience sharing, and the exchange of tax-related technologies. Similar declarations have been made with countries such as the Czech Republic, Estonia, Slovakia, Hungary, and Ukraine. As per the agreement, bilateral meetings will be conducted to facilitate the exchange of tax-related experiences.
