In a court filing on Friday, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) requested the judge cancel interim bail granted to former Punjab CM and PTI leader Usman Buzdar in the assets beyond means case. In accordance with the report the NAB filed in court, the investigation into Usman Buzdar got underway as required by law, and the bureau has the authority to investigate the complaints.
Buzdar had been issued several summons notices, but he did not appear and “distorted” the facts in the case for bail from the court, according to the report. It should be remembered that Buzdar, the former chief minister of Punjab, is currently on interim bail until December 5.
