The Chilean president arrived in a black van surrounded by a large retinue of several security vehicles. López Obrador was waiting at the Door of Honor, together with his wife Beatriz Gutiérrez Müller, Boric and his wife Irina Karamanos.

Boric’s agenda on Mexican soil includes, in addition to the meeting with López Obrador, a meeting with Mexican businessmen, a solemn session in the Senate and a meeting with the head of the capital city government, Claudia Sheibaum.

The Chilean president was scheduled to participate in the meeting of heads of state of the Pacific Alliance, but the event was suspended by Mexico after the Peruvian Congress did not authorize the trip of President Pedro Castillo.
