Lithuania has called for increased air defence along NATO's eastern border.

President Gitanas Nauseda @GitanasNauseda said on Wednesday that @NATO should quickly deploy more air defences along the Polish-Ukrainian border and along the rest of the alliance’s eastern flank.

Nauseda told reporters that “Lithuania will be actively support deploying (NATO) air defences along the Polish-Ukrainian border.” He added “I hope by next year’s NATO summit in Vilnius we will be able to make progress, as the situation confirms it is the right decision and needs swift implementation.”
