Sisodia is a senior leader of the Aam Aadmi Party and the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi.

On Saturday, the Enforcement Directorate submitted its opposition to Sisodia's parole request, which was examined by the court.

Special Judge MK Nagpal postponed the case until April 5 and provided a copy of the ED's response to Sisodia's lawyer. Currently, Sisodia is being held in judicial custody through April 5 in connection with an ED case linked to the Excise case.

During a previous appearance for the ED, Advocate Zohaib Hossain stated that extensive mail and cell data were being forensically examined.

The mobile phone that Sisodia had been using for a while when LG wrote to the CBI was replaced on that day. The ED's extensive opposition to the parole request suggests that the case against Sisodia is gaining momentum.

The money laundering case against Sisodia has caused a stir in the political circles of Delhi, with the Aam Aadmi Party standing behind its leader.

With the hearing date set for Sisodia's bail request, the case is likely to attract even more attention in the coming days.
