Vice President of the European Commission, Valdis Dombrovskis, announced that the European Union will release the second installment of macro-financial aid to Ukraine, amounting to 1.5 billion euros from the total package of 18 billion euros. The funds will be provided as emergency assistance to help Ukraine address its urgent needs, Dombrovskis added.
The Vice President assured that the EU remains committed to supporting Ukraine for as long as necessary. Over the past year, the European Union has provided financial and military aid to Ukraine, citing it as an emblem of European solidarity and a safe haven from Russia.
