Emmanuel Macron will express concerns about US industrial subsidies during talks with Biden

During talks with US President Joe Biden in Washington next week, French President @EmmanuelMacron would raise a concern about the consequences of American business subsidies and tax cuts.
Furthermore, the French President, who had just returned from the United Nations climate meeting in Egypt, was scheduled to meet with the leaders of his country’s most climate-damaging businesses in order to put pressure on them to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the face of increased competition from the United States and China.
The conference at the Elysee presidential house in Paris aimed to accelerate the reduction of carbon emissions, which requires new technology and billions of dollars in expenditures. Macron was expected to go into greater detail on potential state incentives to encourage polluting companies to take action. Furthermore, at the COP27 conference in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, Macron urged all governments to “continue to take action” to confront the climate emergency.
