Elon Musk said if Florida Governor Ron DeSantis runs for President, he will support him

Elon Musk said on Friday that if Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who recently won a second term, ran for president in 2024, he would support him.

DeSantis was re-elected as Florida governor earlier this month, defeating Democratic opponent Charlie Crist by nearly 20 percentage points and cementing himself as the Republican Party’s top rising star.

Musk stated on Twitter, “My preference for the 2024 presidency is someone sensible and centrist. I had hoped that would the case for the Biden administration, but have been disappointed so far.” When asked if he would support DeSantis in 2024, he replied in a tweet, “Yes.”

The Twitter owner @elonmusk also said, “As a reminder, I was a significant supporter of the Obama-Biden presidency and (reluctantly) voted for Biden over Trump.”
