CTO Taimur Khan’s Inspection Visit to Gujjar Khan Traffic Sector
On 26th September 2023, Rawalpindi’s Chief Traffic Officer (CTO), Taimur Khan, undertook an inspection visit to the Gujjar Khan traffic sector. His primary objective was to review the existing traffic management systems and assess the quality of services provided to the citizens. Sites under inspection included the Gujjar Khan Traffic Sector, Gujjar Khan Traffic Chowki, and the Licensing Center.
Auditing Services at the Licensing Center
During his visit, CTO Taimur Khan took the opportunity to evaluate the facilities provided to the citizens at the Licensing Center. The citizens expressed their appreciation of the licensing services offered at the tehsil level by the CTO Rawalpindi. Their feedback triggered a response from the CTO, who issued instructions to increase the seating capacity and ensure adequate water arrangements at the Licensing Center. His directives didn’t stop there; he also commanded the DSP Traffic Saddar Circle to step up monitoring and surveillance at the Driving Center. He underscored the importance of preserving video audio of all licensing stages.

Upholding Standards of Police Services
CTO Taimur Khan reiterated that in line with the orders of IG Punjab, special attention is being paid to the provision of police services. He declared that no compromise would be made on the smooth flow of traffic, excellent provision of licensing services, and duty-related matters. He warned that any officer demonstrating inappropriate behavior, rude conduct, or negligence in duty would be immediately replaced. Khan stressed the need to treat citizens visiting the center for services as guests, reinforcing a culture of respect and hospitality.
