“Difficult times ahead in public spending” deputy leader of the Alliance warns

The Alliance deputy leader has warned that there are difficult times ahead in terms of public spending in Northern Ireland. . This was the reaction from Stephen Farry after Secretary of State Chris Heaton-Harris moved to set up a budget for the region in the absence of a Stormont Executive.
Mr Farry described as “regrettable but inevitable” that it fell to the Secretary of State to set the budget.
