Deputy Commander of the Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom), Deputy Comm Mohd Ali Tamby, has been appointed as the new Kelantan deputy police chief, taking over from Deputy Comm Victor Sanjos. This appointment was announced by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) secretary, Datuk Noorsiah Mohd Saaduddin, on June 2. DCP Victor, on the other hand, will assume the position of Esscom Commander, succeeding DCP Mohd Ali. These changes in leadership roles will officially take effect on July 3.

With his vast experience in law enforcement and security matters, DCP Mohd Ali Tamby is poised to contribute to the enhancement of security in the state of Kelantan.
