CCTV footage of a suicide attack in Peshawar, Pakistan, surfaced

On Thursday, CCTV footage of an explosion at a mosque in Peshawar's Police Lines neighborhood surfaced.

The explosion at the mosque in Peshawar reportedly took place at Zuhr prayers at 1:17 p.m., according to CCTV footage.

The footage is from just before the blast incident. On Jan. 30, during Zuhr prayers, a huge explosion nearly ripped through a mosque in Peshawar's Police Line neighborhood, killing over 100 people and injuring 400 more, predominantly police personnel.

On Thursday, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Chief Moazzam Jah Ansari disclosed that the attacker in the Peshawar mosque blast "was clad in an authorities' uniform" and that police had discovered the bomber's body parts at the blast scene.

On Jan. 30, during Zuhr prayers, a huge explosion tore through a mosque in Peshawar's Police Line neighborhood, killing over 100 people and injuring 400 more, predominantly police personnel.

Briefing the media about the progress in the Peshawar blast probe, KP IG said that the suicide bomber entered the Police Lines area on a motorcycle and police have traced his movement from CCTV footage.

He declared that the Peshawar blast was a suicide attack and that the bomber had been traced.

The accused Peshawar suicide bomber first parked his motorcycle before going into the mosque, where he blew himself up, according to closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage.
