Chilean President Gabriel Boric asked Mexican businessmen to invest in Chile and in renewable energy.

Gabriel Boric, President of Chile, met with businessmen in Mexico City to promote his country as a reliable opportunity for Mexican investments.

Boric attended an event with businessmen in Mexico City to kick off his official visit and promote his country as an opportunity for Mexican investment.

At the meeting held at an exclusive hotel, Boric said he is working to position Chile as a center of opportunities for investment in solutions of the future, which are green, technological, and inclusive.

Boric detailed that Chile has received more than US$17 billion in foreign direct investment (FDI) during the first three quarters of 2022, higher than the average of the last five years.

Accompanied by his Minister of Economy, Nicolás Grau, the Chilean President invited to promote green and sustainable industries that incorporate small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the economic reactivation.
