The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Taliban has claimed that this number of imprisoned Afghan citizens have been released following the efforts of the Afghan Consulate General in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Based on published information, 314 Afghan citizens were imprisoned in Asir, Jizan, Al-Baha, Abha, Taif, Madinah, Qunfada, Shamisi, Tabuk and Hada prisons.
