Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Youth Affairs, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, made an exciting announcement on Friday, revealing that the federal government is set to re-launch the laptop scheme for the youth this year as part of the Prime Minister Youth Program. Under the scheme, a staggering 100,000 laptops will be distributed to deserving youth in the current year. Earlier this year, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had already revealed plans to distribute 100,000 laptops among the country’s top achievers. The Prime Minister emphasized that the laptops provided under the Prime Minister Youth Program have proven instrumental in helping the youth sustain their education and livelihood, particularly in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.
