According to Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, India is set to introduce a new Vande Bharat Express train on the Delhi-Jaipur-Ajmer line on April 10th, 2023. The new train will provide a faster and more comfortable travel experience for passengers, with a projected speed of 130 to 160 kilometers per hour.
The Union Railway Minister noted that before the Vande Bharat Express could completely operate on this route, some technical adjustments were required. “Two projects will be implemented along this path,” he said. “By first making some track modifications, such as the installation of a double-distant signaling system and the removal of some curves, the speed on this path can be increased.”
The introduction of the Vande Bharat Express is a significant development for India’s railways, as it will provide a more efficient and comfortable mode of transportation for passengers traveling between Delhi, Jaipur, and Ajmer. The train will feature modern amenities, including Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and comfortable seating.
With the launch of the new Vande Bharat Express, India is continuing its efforts to modernize its railway infrastructure and provide better transportation options for its citizens. The new train is expected to be a popular choice among passengers traveling on the Delhi-Jaipur-Ajmer line, and it is sure to become a hallmark of India’s rail travel experience in the years to come.
