The southernmost techno-robotic digital classroom in the world will be installed in the only school in the Argentine Antarctic, located at the Esperanza base.
The Esperanza base is home to 60 people, 21 of whom are young people still in school and range in age from 3 to 21 years old.
The project was carried out through the Joint Antarctic Command, which worked jointly with the companies Asus, Banghó, BenQ, Intel, and Microsoft, which provided equipment and connections.
The beneficiaries will be the students attending school 38 “Presidente Raúl Ricardo Alfonsín”, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary.
The classroom will include not only computer equipment and educational software, but also an interactive screen, robotics kits, and a 3D printer, creating a comprehensive digital solution for students, teachers, and non-teachers.
