The National Fund’s General Manager, Yasser Al-Qarqawi, recently reaffirmed the fund’s commitment to supporting Emirati men and women in their entrepreneurial and investment activities. This commitment is rooted in directives from Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and Chairman of the Fund’s Board. The fund’s efforts are not restricted to a particular area or social group. Instead, the aim is to support all Emirati citizens in line with the government’s vision.

Financial Support for “Rest Heroes”

As part of these efforts, Al-Qarqawi signed an agreement with Dr. Abdullah Al-Shamri, the founder and CEO of “Rest Heroes”. This agreement secures financial support from the National Fund of up to AED 250,000. The objective of this support is to facilitate the growth of “Rest Heroes”. This platform is a key player in promoting and selling products and services of small, medium, and emerging companies within and outside the UAE. By offering these smaller companies significant savings on marketing and technology expenses, “Rest Heroes” supports businesses in their early stages.

Nurturing Creative Ideas and Initiatives

Al-Qarqawi emphasized that the fund is committed to supporting and nurturing creative ideas and initiatives from Emirati men and women. This is achieved by empowering young people in the private sector, preparing them for the local and global job market, and providing specialized training. Additionally, the fund offers financial and technical support for innovative projects, aided by the fund’s partners, supporters, and contributors.
