A woman who was injured in the deadly train collision at Tempe has filed a criminal complaint at the Athens prosecutor’s office, seeking a thorough investigation of the incident.
The complaint, submitted through court lawyers, calls for an examination of the criminal responsibility of all those in positions of authority at Hellenic Railways (OSE), related entities, and any politicians who served in a supervisory capacity for OSE.It is expected that the criminal complaint will be presented to Parliament, which is responsible for determining the criminal culpability of Members of Parliament.
The accident, which occurred on February 28th, was the deadliest train tragedy in Greece, claiming the lives of 57 people and injuring many more. The incident sparked outrage and protests across the country.
